Federico, you wrote Tuesday, July 28, 2009 11:24 PM
Last month I started translating the doc into italian, so the
Music Glossary was the first doc I checked.
I have a list of the missing italian words, as well as some
corrections of existing ones. All these modifications have been
already proofread by another italian who has helped me with
proofreading so far
Sounds good! Thanks.
(BTW, he has a very good knowledge of music theory, I wonder if he
may be interested in helping with future emprovements of the music
glossary..maybe I'll ask him..do you need help on that?).
The Glossary editor is Kurtis Kroon, who I believe would
welcome some help. I'll copy this reply to him so he can
respond.
Please let me know how can I send you the patches..
I may either edit the file (which file is it?) or just send a
clear text file with all the edits needed (and then you can add
them to the file).
Normally I would ask you to edit the file (and provide it as
an attachment) but another contributor (Jonathan Kulp) is
already adding some of the missing translated terms, and
I don't know how far he has got. So instead, at this time I'd
prefer a clear text file which I can merge with his changes.
I have Git, but I've almost never used it so far.. so I'm very
clumsy with it ;-)
There's no need for you to use Git at all if you prefer not to.
I can handle the Git aspects.
Many thanks for your offer!
Trevor
