There were some problems with translations, but i think they are
solved now and a stable 2.16.1 release should happen soon. (Thread:
"2.16.1" http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2012-10/msg00627.html)

A quite large discussion about LilyPond usability happened on the user
list, with some users criticizing lily for excessive complexity, and
some other quite strongly disagreeing:
"Problem with remove bar number/ why I'm not upgrading to the new
stable version"
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-user/2012-10/msg00485.html

David Kastrup's series of patches which allow, among other things, to
specify properties without #' (i.e. length instead of #'length) was
pushed to master. Looks impressive!

Julien Rioux wrote a patch for git-cl improving tracker issue
handling. Appropriate status and owner is now set, and new patch sets
are announced on tracker with appropriate commit message (not the
first commit's message, as it used to be). Everyone is encouraged to
update their git-cl with code from https://github.com/gperciva/git-cl

Anything i missed?

PS this is the last Busy Developers' Summary that i explicitely cc to
a bunch of people who i suppose might be particularly interested in
reading it. Following "issues" will be just sent to -devel.

PPS i encourage everyone to participate in writing these summaries -
there are no restrictions, anyone can do it!
