Maybe the version in the stable/2.16 branch can > be a bit of a guide. Maybe start with some "highlights". I think unpitched rhythms ("isolated durations") are noteworthy, and \etc is. Those are two features likely having a marked impact on how people like to write things. There is a whole lot of other impressive stuff in there but those are of the variety one expects to see rather frequently in future. -- David Kastrup
