Hi Noah,

I'm not really familiar with accidental styles (as the default is 
perfectly fine for me).

But there's a 'manual' solution which works. I just can't say if it's 
too much extra-input for your taste:

\version "2.18.2"

\relative c' {
    \time 4/4

    \clef "alto"
    cis4        

    \clef "treble"
    \once \omit Accidental cis  % <-- no #

    \clef "alto"
    cis  % <-- # back up

    r4 |
}
