In these cases you could still use the old tried and true way of hitting g
and entering a mailto: URL.  The only real advantages I see of the c
modifcation (other than speed and ease) is that you can comment to source
where the owner was correctly defined, and it lists the url for the page
unlike the mailto: trick I mentioned which lists the mailto: URL instead.
