Just a little note of something I did today with Lynx that was cool.
A colleague of mine here at the College has some fancy hardware and has been
creating animation. I talked him into building an avi clip to play on the
web. He did, and was fairly pleased, but was really impressed when I took
my .mailcap on my pc, added a line of code, and could play the same avi file
from Lynx on my W95 box.
The power of Lynx in a windowing environment, be it X or W95, is very
impressive! Thanks again UKans, Fote, Wayne, and all the others who contributed
to this.
