Ok -- I just built ac98 on a sun4 and tried http://www.intac.com/~leaves/s.html and lo and behold it worked fine. So it's only on my bsdi system that I get the trashed urls. Any ideas where to go from here? Does anyone else run on bsdi? I think this shoujld be fixed before 2.8. Thanks in advance. --le
