With the patch I proposed, the generated map is 14 MB and uses about
45 pages (instead of 85) for the Rennes city.

In fact, due to an omsid error, I rendered all the villages around
Rennes in a "Rennes" at administrative level 7.

The generated PDF takes 95 MB and it contains 1473 pages. :-)
