Yes. Furthermore, you cannot have a font that goes perfectly well with a funeral or kittens and yet does not look neutral to a point of blandness. The whole of MediaGoblin will be closer to the kitten-side, not a funeral, right? ;)

I'd be happy with either of those, though I do think i like Lato's width
a bit more.  I'm not very strongly opinionated.

The only reason against Lato I can think of is that I want to use it for my new blog (if I ever manage to launch it) and hence would like to not see it in too many other places ... no wait, bad ego, no cookie! :)
