Hi ayleph,

Thanks for your reply, sorry for the delay in getting back to you I had to
rebuild my VM to get a definitive answer. I have both gstreamer 0 and 1
installed at versions 0.10.36 and 1.0.7-5 respectively. Sounds like it should
be working for me then really...yum output below

Installed Packages
gstreamer.x86_64                                              0.10.36-7.el7
                             @base
gstreamer-plugins-base.x86_64                                 0.10.36-10.el7
                             @base
gstreamer-plugins-good.x86_64                                 0.10.31-11.el7
                             @base
gstreamer-python.x86_64                                       0.10.22-6.el7

gstreamer-tools.x86_64                                        0.10.36-7.el7
                             @base
gstreamer1.x86_64                                             1.0.7-4.el7

Hi Ian,

I'm not very familiar with CentOS. Do you know what version of gstreamer you're
using? Latest MediaGoblin is designed to work with gstreamer-1.x.
I've personally had success with gstreamer-1.0, -1.4, and currently with -1.6.
