The previous behavior would center off-screen matches and only move the cursor 
to those already on-screen without centering the view. With 2.2.x the 
off-screen matches are placed on the last row and on-screen matches are handled 
the same as before. Could a setting be added to restore the previous behavior 
if this change is intentional?
