I hate the way things would look then: having to specify four colors
when all you want is to make a nice color scheme for the terminal you
are actually using. So, "requiring", certainly not. And it's not needed
to get the extra colors working -- just like the italic and underline and
what have you: leave it out, not essential, unnecessary.
