Follow-up Comment #28, bug #29768 (project octave):


I had two thoughts on the code.

Where you have written

min (find (tau <=  theta))

you could use

find (tau <= theta, 1)

Which finds the index of the first occurrence that matches.  This might be
clearer than using min in this case.

Second, a value for m is assigned only if the tau is less than theta(7) and
other conditions are met.  It would probably be a good idea to assign a value
to it before the loop is entered in case opt_iters has been set very low and
the loop exits before assigning a value to m.  What is the proper value in
this case?  7?
