Follow-up Comment #72, bug #41699 (project octave): Maybe the sysroot settings used for compiling cross gcc are messing things up. Currently they put them into usr/i686-w64-mingw32/lib/xxxxxx which looks different from the usr/lib/xxxx gcc is then trying to use. When playing around with multilib gcc, I believe I had similar issues occuring when trying to compile gcc itself, and used usr as the sysroot rather usr/i686....
