Follow-up Comment #4, bug #46795 (project octave): I think the unintended scrolling is a side effect of http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/aab7a3c7168e The behavior for restoring the breakpoints can be adjusted in the settings or by checking "don't ask me again" in the dialog box. This was introduced with http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/0a09c3cae800 However, the dialog should not appear when the file is closing.
