Great, your translations sound right to me. Now we're on the same page :)

I like your new wording for the help text.

I agree that option (1) seems the best approach for now.

Option (2) is messy because the function doesn't automatically know if it is
being called by the context menu or a typed dbstop command, and I wouldn't
want people to type extra quotes into the dialog box (which would turn the
whole thing into a vector, giving a confusing error).  It would be a lot of
code bloat for little gain, IMHO.

If you are both happy now, it would be great to have the
dbstop_20160124_{cli,gui}.cset  patches applied and see if we get feedback
from other people.
