Follow-up Comment #3:

Torsten - is this a recurring problem with the default font matching on Ubuntu
for the font name "Courier New"? Is this something that we can address with a
sensible (maybe conditional) default somewhere? Or is this coming from
querying default font names from Qt?

I don't see this on Debian when I delete all my settings files. But I also
have the Croscore fonts installed on my system.
