Follow-up Comment #5, bug #54231 (project octave): @Dan (comment #4): I think the issue is that in your first case, the not modified editor tab is handled like an ordinary opened file. In a not modified "unnamed" tab (which must be empty) setting a breakpoint should not result in any action at all. I am going to fix this.
