Follow-up Comment #6, bug #57703 (project octave):

I think any way we look at it it's going to be complicated. Sorry for bringing
up the distraction of tagging tests differently. Any test that is tagged as
fixing a bug may fail due to something not entirely related to the original
bug, so probably not worth changing the test bug numbers or adding a new
symbol.

No, the fact that they show up as regressions now is probably good, since most
people running the test suite are used to ignoring xfails anyway. Only helps
to bring attention to fixing these leftover issues before the release. I see
Rik has already written a fix for the failing griddatan test.
