Follow-up Comment #14, bug #59173 (project octave): There seems to be at least one package that might have problems with the missing LFLAGS. The `control` package is failing to cross-compile with a linker error: http://buildbot.octave.org:8010/#/builders/14/builds/880/steps/8/logs/stdio I'll try to have a closer look at the error when I come around to it. Wrt the possibly missing linker flags, I'm more worried about "-Wl,--export-all-symbols". I believe to have read somewhere that this flag is necessary on Windows. But I don't remember where I read that or what is the reason it is needed.
