Follow-up Comment #71, bug #50025 (project octave):

Are you sure it's stuck? Looks like it's building Qt here, and that can take a
couple hours.

If you don't want to build the special patched Qt, you can do:

brew install octave-app/octave-app/octave@6.0.90

instead, which will make use of the pre-built "bottled" qt from homebrew-core.
