Follow-up Comment #6, patch #8943 (project octave):

light_v4.patch compiles without error and "demo light" looks great to me.

Code looks reasonable enough to me, but I'm not expert.

I did notice "scripts/plot/draw/light.m" has dos newlines.  I'm not sure what
Octave policy is, but other files in scripts/plot/draw have unix newlines:


isonormals.m:  ASCII text
isosurface.m:  ASCII text
light.m:       ASCII text, with CRLF line terminators
line.m:        ASCII text
loglogerr.m:   ASCII text
loglog.m:      ASCII text
