Try going to the "Filter" menu and making sure that "Show Matching
Articles' Threads" is selected (instead of "Show Matching
Articles' Subthreads" or "Show Matching Articles).
Upgrading to .94 reset that particular setting for all of my NGs.
It also seemed to change the behavior of the "Show Matching Articles'
Subthreads" filter, but that's a topic for another day... ;)
