the reason must be your source in the sources.list. i'm running 
debian/testing too, switched from stable for a few weeks. my php4-mysql 
is running fine, it's from the original debian-server. perhaps you run 
deb.phpgroupware.org/testing in sources.list. i tried the same, but i 
don't want an update of my php4-debs from this server, so i changed from 
testing to stable.
i've running phpgroupware for some tests in version 0.9.14-007 
(original/stable debs) and 0.9.16 from tar-archive. what i want is a 
CRM/CMS with sync-function for outlook (and other mailclients). but i'm 
worry about this feature in phpgw. i also tested phprojekt, but the sync 
is also a problem. i found a 3.party-adon, but i have to install it on 
each client. it would be very nice to have a sync-function which really 
makes a 'sync', i.e. get a csv-file from your mailclient, give it to a 
CRM and get a CVS with the differences back for input in outlook. but i 
think i'm a dreamer ;). in the last days i had not the time to look in 
the php-files, that's the reason why i don't code an own sync.
excuse my bad english, i'm not a native speaker.
