Some findings...

A dependency on libtextstyle is being dragged in by
poke/build/gl/libgnu.la:

# Libraries that this one depends upon.
dependency_libs=' -R/usr/local/lib  -lreadline -L/usr/local/lib
/usr/local/lib/libtextstyle.la -lm -lncurses'

Eventually that leads to libtool to prepend the installed ladir of
libtextstyle (/usr/local/lib) to LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Adding LTLIBTEXTSTYLE
to values_LDADD fixes this:

values_LDADD = $(top_builddir)/gl/libgnu.la \
               $(top_builddir)/libpoke/libpoke.la \
               $(LTLIBTEXTSTYLE)

This works, but I don't fully understand why.

For the time being, Kostas, please use this workaround in your patch,
which is then OK for master.

Thanks!
