[rdiff-backup-users] Problem with regress of backup

Hello,

I'm currently using rdiff-backup 0.13.1 to backup smbmounted windows
shares.  Specifically, I have a windows computer, data, with two drives
mounted at mnt/IBMPEERS/data/i_drive and mnt/IBMPEERS/data/j_drive.

My backup is run as rdiff-backup /mnt/IBMPEERS/data /mnt/syncback/data,
/mnt/syncback is a local raid array.

If the backup chokes in the middle (the windows computer crashes from
time to time, can you believe it?) and I try to re-run, I get a message
about trying to regress, then both mnt/syncback/data/i_drive and
mnt/syncback/data/j_drive are completely emptied and the backup attempts
to run from scratch.

Any ideas are most welcome.
