Is this done in a way which ensures consistency? Is it safe to access the
mirror repository while the rsync is in progress? What happens if a checkin
is in progress on the parent repo while rsyncing the mirror?
There was some considerable discussion on the lkml a while back about rsynced
mirrors of cvs repos. It concluded that extra steps were required to make the
mirrored repo consistent/useful. Otherwise it was a case of fingers crossed,
touch wood, turn around 3 times and...
