[Straw-devel] Bug 134875, makefile/autoconf, and distutils

Hi,

I was skimming through the intltool references cited on bug #134875[1],
googled for python and intltool references, and seems that we _really_
have to use autoconf for the intltool stuff.

Opinions? Volunteers?
