John,
We've been trying to get Swarm going on an SGI Impact running IRIX 6.2. In
short - no success. We've been getting some strange compiler errors when we
try to build the Swarm libraries. Even the tech. support folks at SGI are at a
loss.
Haven't had any success on our 5.3 systems either, but this is probably due to
our particular setup and network conditions.
The problem is still being worked, however. If we find a solution I'll post it
to the list.
