Another gift from Budapest, this one in tasteful Helvetica. I realize,
sitting here in Hungary, t hat I should eschew my usual pretention for
Swiss clean typography and use a font as tasty as paprika. But alas,
Postscript is limiting.
A good chunk of teaching here at CEU is trying to help 30 some odd
scientists from various fields come to terms with Swarm programming.
As I put this course together I realize how few organized teaching
materials there are for Swarm.
My small contribution has been uploaded to the user community incoming
area. It consists of five slides: a functional block diagram of the
components that go into the heatbugs simulaton. I intend to spend
30--45 minutes going through this overview level to give people a
better sense of how a Swarm program is put together.
Talking with Benedikt it seems like there's a good chance that there
are all sorts of useful materials like this for Swarm. Have people out
there written documentation, given talks, written little bits of code?
If so, *please* contribute them.
your itinerant Swarm user,
Nelson
