drag&drop problem, crashing Xserver

I believe I tracked the problem down to blt2.1 (Solaris 2.5.1).
The drag&drop almost always crashes my Xserver on a Sun, although
when sending the display to an HP, it worked okay.  Blt2.3 may not
have the problem, but does not work with swarm1.0.2
Anyone else run into this problem?
