The minimal requirements for running a Swarm model are the javaswarm.dll
and swarmjdk.jar files. You can grab them here:

ftp://ftp.santafe.edu/pub/swarm/java

Note if you have Kaffe and the GNU debugger handy (which you'll get
as part of the Cygwin B20 and swarm-2.0.exe installation) if something
goes wrong it will be much more feasible for us to figure it out or suggest
a workaround. For example, if a model were to get stuck in a repeat
cycle running a non-Java selector, it's conceivable that it would
be difficult or impossible to tell from the Java level where that was
happening. However, if this were run it under GDB and Kaffe, the
problem would not be opaque.
