A build of wdiff-0.5.92 on Fedora 8 on IA-32 failed because
wdiff is not already installed:

not found

I then did "make install" followed by "make check", and the
tests passed.

This looks like the validation suite is lacking a path to
the newly-built wdiff in at least the wdiff.at test.

I got similar failures on a few other platforms, and
I'm now going to try the same fix.
