We at the GNU Volunteer Coordinators get quite a few requests of
this type (sent by "F.O. Bossert" <address@hidden>):

What should we tell people like this? Where should they go to?
It's very difficult to find a contact address on
http://www.gnu.org/ if you want to help with hurd. If you know
your way around, you'll find http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/ --
it's not easy to find either. On that page, there is no
information on how to *help* with the Hurd.
I had to grep the aliases file to find address@hidden, and i
don't know wether it's the correct address for this. Volunteers
won't find anything.
I suggest to improve the Hurd pages in this regard :)
