hi,
here is a link with the mailing lists for the hurd as well as a lot of cool
development info and tools for learning to hack the hurd.

 http://angg.twu.net/the_hurd_links.html

the easiest way to get directly to the hurd at gnu.org is
http://hurd.gnu.org/ . As for improving the web pages for the hurd we are in
the midst of project to do that at this moment. The project deadline we have
set is May 31, 2001 and your offer of assistance comes at a most opportune
time. Please join the address@hidden mailing list and read the archives
for the last week or so and just pitch in any way you wish.

Hi there.
We at the GNU Volunteer Coordinators get quite a few requests of
this type (sent by "F.O. Bossert" <address@hidden>):

> Could you please bring me in contact with people from the Hurd
> development group...

What should we tell people like this? Where should they go to?

It's very difficult to find a contact address on
http://www.gnu.org/ if you want to help with hurd. If you know
your way around, you'll find http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/ --
it's not easy to find either. On that page, there is no
information on how to *help* with the Hurd.

I had to grep the aliases file to find address@hidden, and i
don't know wether it's the correct address for this. Volunteers
won't find anything.

I suggest to improve the Hurd pages in this regard :)

Greetings,
