I didn't know about it, thanks for the pointer. Examples are very
useful for sure, however they can't be a replacement for reference
documentation. They can only be an addition thereto, so if anything
they make the documentation larger, not shorter.
I can't see the relation between including examples in the
documentation and the degree of brevity of the reference documentation
(which was the original topic.)
Anyway, it's your project and I see that you have committed your ls
command line options documentation update by now, so let it be.
