It seems that even though your local cs client is version 1.11.14, the
remove cvs server is using version 1.12.9.  Can you verify that?

CVS version 1.12.9 has make a change to the message format that makes
it ambiguous.  AFAIK this should get fixed in some future release, but for
now, there's little that can be done.

I've committed a fix that eliminates the error you see, but the resulting
behavior will be incorrect if you committed a file in a subdirectory.
