Thanks for testing and reporting about it. It is good practice to
include the tests/test-suite.log file, but I'm pretty sure that test
has been failing on that platform for several releases, and it's such
a crufty corner of the code that I do not plan to investigate or
address it. Which makes me think I should just disable the test -- on
cygwin, or even altogether, since it was solely to test for
cygwin-specific misbehavior.
