A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Janos Kramar <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Gsched
System name: gsched
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

This program will create timetables for teachers and students within a school,
given the room, time, and course restrictions. As input, it will take a file
essentially classifying students into groups (i.e. the following students have
this time frame...) and listing the courses they would like to take, listing
the teachers and their subjects, and the rooms and the subjects for which they
are suitable. Planned functionality later includes grouping of a student\'s
courses into mandatory and optional, so that the program can perform
optimizations aimed at making the timetable more flexible (i.e. students can
change their minds without causing conflict). It will output the timetables
into a directory in which each student and teacher will have a file, stating,
for each of their periods, the course name and room number, and, for students,
the teacher\'s name.
