The visible category names have changed? One moment, oops, the
gnu webpages seem to have changed,

Automake
Generating Automake rules from Autoconf macros.
C Language
Testing the C compiler and standard library.
Cross-Compilation
    Cross-compilation support.
C++ Language
Testing the C++ compiler, libraries, and headers.
Fortran Language
    Testing the Fortran compiler.
Installed Packages
Finding 3rd-party software, headers, and libraries.
Java Language
Testing the Java compiler and libraries.
LaTeX Support
    Testing the LaTeX installation.
Miscellaneous
Everything that didn't fit into any other category.

The gnu.org website changes even include different
subsection anchors, the sfnet webpages have direct
cross-references using

GNUs C++_Support
     index.html#CXX_SUPPORT
GNUs C_Support
     index.html#C_SUPPORT
GNUs Cross_Compilation
     index.html#CROSS_COMPILATION
GNUs Fortran_Support
     index.html#FORTRAN_SUPPORT
GNUs Java_Support
     index.html#JAVA_SUPPORT
GNUs Installed_Packages
     index.html#INSTALLED_PACKAGES
GNUs Miscellaneous
     index.html#MISC

aaargh, and so forcing everyone into a catchup mode
who does crosslink as well. And it should have been
a community effort *sigh* - oh, btw, the subheadings
look weird "CrossCompilation" (no space), "Cxx" is
not strictly C++, and a subsection "C" is too close
to A,B,C. - Are you working on that silently in the
background? What's the target, when is it finished?
The new build system will be in cvs just sometime?

oh my,
