Thank you so much for your reply!
Now I have modified the xorg.conf file to get into the stereo mode, (stereo = 10)
My current status:
- display is refreshing at 120 HZ in stereo mode
- I ran glxgears, and some other stereo samples, I can see double images

What is not working:
- NVIDIA IR emitter is faint green (it is not bright green as expected)
- the glasses is not functioning. the lens is not shuttering (not dark) as expected.

I feel like I'm getting close to get it work, however,
1. How can I get the NVIDIA IR emitter sync with graphics card output? and get the shutter glasses working to see the stereo that is displaying?
2. Is the 3-PIN DIN a necessity to run stereo on Linux?  I have a USB IR emitter. My Quadro graphics card doesn't have a DIN connector.

I really really appreciate your help. Thank you.

This is my set-up:
I have a desktop running Ubuntu 12.04, with a Quadro 600 card and OptX AW2310 1080p 3D monitor.
The NVIDIA IR emitter is connected to the machine through USB.

You could try to build Bino on Windows using MinGW, but it might take
some work to get and build all required libraries.

If you have an NVIDIA Quadro card, you just need to set the option
"Stereo" in the "Device" section of /etc/X11/xorg.conf. See your
NVIDIA driver documentation, file xconfigoptions.html.
(Online here:
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/310.40/README/xconfigoptions.html).

If you don't have an /etc/X11/xorg.conf yet, or want to recreate it for
the NVIDIA driver, use 'nvidia-xconfig --stereo=XYZ' (choose stereo
value from the documentation mentioned above).

Martin
