I'm trying to reproduce this problem, but unfortunately, I haven't been
able to get either gcc 2.95.3 or 3.0 to build as a cross compiler for
any architecture. (I tried sparclite-elf, arm-elf, sh-hms, m68k-coff) I find
this irritating, cause I used to build cross compilers daily for many years...
Once I get a cross compiler that works, I can look into this more. You may be
able to run without the Tool init file (that's why it's a warning, not an
error), but I doubt it. It all depends on whether you have a standard platform,
or custom hardware.

Most of the time, the "make check" target does the right thing, so if you
haven't tried that, it might help.

Definetely on the TODO list for DejaGnu development is to completely rewrite
the cross testing configuration support, to be less obscure and convoluted...
