The output of `M-x list-charset-chars RET ucs RET' is exactly like
the output of `M-x list-charset-chars RET unicode-bmp RET' that
is not disabled. And Miles said that he sometimes uses
`M-x list-charset-chars RET unicode-bmp RET' without problems.
So maybe it would be better not disable `ucs' along with
`unicode-bmp' because they are quick enough on modern computers.
