Indeed, though fixing bugs in that festering-mess-of-special-cases-and-
half-solutions-to-obscure-problems we call `line-move' always seems to
end up breaking other things; it's a bit scary to even think of it...
They don't break other things, but they often break line-move for
other cases.
Unfortunately I can't see what better alternative there is. I don't
see any general principles that say what line-move ought to do.
