I certainly do.

It drives me nuts having to do weird contortions to work around the the
current restrictions on limited commit...  it happens quite often too.

A simple "do a limited inventory if you can get away with it, but quickly
fall back to a full inventory if things seems confusing" behavior (by tla,
not the user) seems right to me....
