Indeed it does. That's a useful function to know - thanks.
That solves my "not wanting to spam people" half of the problem.

I believe it's a gnu-mailman list that results in the list
admin/owner being notified to dis/approve of 'external' posts.

Which means that outside posts can come through.

And so I guess this means we need to reply-all.

I haven't been doing this.

When I post to lists I'm not subscribed to, I usually ask for
a CC explicitly.

However, is reply-all the preferred approach here on gau?

If so, I shall use it.
