   The idea is that the special file system that composes
   /etc/inetd.conf by concatenating the pieces supplied by various
   packets could also offer the option to compose
   /etc/funny-format-file from pieces in some sophisticated way, by
   letting you provide a Scheme program to do the job of combining
   them.  You would specify how to combine things in
   /etc/funny-format-file by writing the Scheme program to do it.

Sounds like a good idea.  Wolfgang, can you add this to some TODO list
for kitten?
