The purpose of the GNU project has always been to develop the GNU
system.  Citing RMS[1]:

  The project to develop the GNU system is called the "GNU Project".

It's laughable your attempt to contradict the GNU project's founder
and current head.

That is something the FSF should campaign for and some GNU hackers
would happily help by looking for technical solutions and even
implementing it in the GNU system, if applicable.  That wouldn't
change our purpose, though.

We all want to see the free software movement to succeed, and we would
like to fight whatever threats to computer users' freedom could
possibly come to be, however the development of the GNU system is the
GNU hackers' main job.
