Thanks a lot for this wonderful explanation and precise corrections in the
output of '--help' as well as the comments and manual. The commit has been
merged into the 'master' branch as

0545e7ea6b]. 

You will notice, that I just added the paragraph in your commit message (that
described how '--arcsectandist' should not be arbitrarily multiplied to large
values) in the manual also. These types of good usage/physical tips are better
suited in the manual for users to easily see when they need that option. The
commit message can be dedicated to more developer-side points ;-).
