I wasn't at all meaning to imply you were incompetent, but (and for the 
benefit of others that may have been reading this thread) that some of 
us had updated the documents based on my own 'n00b' experience (which is 
what I consider myself) and that people shouldn't be put off if they had 
tried in the past but failed.

I think the documents, while not perfect, in the CG have come a 
relatively long way since I started back in the end of 2009 to get 
people working (at least on Doc anyway - I cannot comment on coding).
